The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has released e@syFile™ Employer version 7.3.3 with a series of improvements and fixes aimed at enhancing the user experience and addressing identified issues. The updated version features changes to the data synchronization process, data display, and status management.
Data synchronization in the AA88 system has been enhanced by applying improvements and fixes to the “delta” synchronization process. Additionally, a new function has been added to clear previous AA88 data, allowing users to restart the process.
In terms of data display, a new filter and search option have been introduced, enabling users to search using transaction reference. A fix has been applied to the assessed tax AA88 duplication check to prevent errors.
For status management, the status code “07” for defaulted transactions will now be grouped with inactive status codes “04” and “09.” This update will allow for better organization and classification of transaction statuses.
The release also includes an updated PAYE Verified Assessment Letters feature in the Notification Centre, further streamlining the employer’s user experience.
These updates build upon the series of enhancements and bug fixes introduced in earlier versions of e@syFile™ Employer, demonstrating SARS’ commitment to continuously refining and improving its software for employers. Users are encouraged to explore the new features and provide feedback to ensure continued improvement in future releases.
